Best congress hotel award for Airportcity Plaza

The fifth award ceremony of the Russian professional award in the field of business tourism was held in Moscow on October 1^st. Russian Business Travel & MICE Award, event for the best companies in the business travel and MICE, was launched in 2010 by the Russian Chamber of Commerce, "Business Travel" magazine and conference.ru portal. The winners were determined in 18 categories – the award covers all participants of the business travel market including hotels in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other regions of the country, congress centers, conference and event organizers in Russia and abroad, business travel agencies, airlines for business travelers and MICE projects.

Open voting on the Internet began on June 16 and ended two weeks before the ceremony. Voting lasted for nearly three months. During this time, a record number of votes was received – 120,000.

To choose the winners of the Russian Business Travel & MICE Award, an advisory council was formed. It included representatives of leading Russian and international companies which are customers of business travel and MICE services.

Among the guests of the ceremony there were more than 300 general managers of congress hotels, specialized companies, representatives of MICE and business travel customers.
